A harrowing, honest story about addiction. Based on true events and narrated by the author i found this to be a raw account about living with someone with addiction.

Harrowing

Extremely sad and depressing. Recovering from this could not have been easy. Wouldn’t want to have experienced his life.

It was a painful listen that reminded me of my brother in-law we lost years ago now before he could meet his nephews. The story was heartbreaking and emotional. I prefer more lighthearted things, but real life doesn't always provide comic relief.

Painful

I enjoyed the actual telling of the story, and think this is best as an audiobook. The narration was great. But I wanted more from the story, it felt too short/compact and ended abruptly. The epilogue was a little disappointing as I was hoping to hear updates about the other family members.

Great narration, but story felt lacking
