What another great story...I’ll be honest, coming off the heels of Adenrele Ojo it’s difficult to get into Mari’s voice in the same way; however, once I adjust her speed it balances out some. Beyond that, I’m just so super into these stories. They’re a perfect addition to the genre; fantastical, yet down to earth in a way where you can still see yourself being potentially swept away like this. I love Alexandria’s work; keep doing your thing sis!

so I really liked this book

okay I love anything Alexandria House puts out, I was skeptical about continuing this series not because of the story but because of the female narrator when I listened to the first book I was like no no no. this book Mari was more in however there wee still parts that got me. one being I wanted to here Jakobi diem voice more I wished they would have let hom read the poem parts during her time. I loved the story line I will be listening to the next good job AH.

What I really love about Alexandria’s book is how intertwined they are.
On another note… Ummm not enough Jakobi for my liking all of the poetry should’ve been read by him!!!

Great love story

Love has it's ups and downs... What's important is that you find your way back to each other and boy oh boy... They found love.

True love

It’s the epitome of when you know you know. I’ve been that woman who’s afraid to give a guy a chance. I’ve also been that woman who is stupid and I mean stupid for the wrong man. Very relatable and it gives me hope to one day fine the one who I am made to love.
