For generations one family has been haunted by something... something that stalks. It sees and listens, it watches and follows. In the shadows and mist it waits, to take you, to hurt you, perhaps to kill you. If it doesn't kill you, you'll wish it did.

A creepy, suspenseful saga of family, horror, and mystery, this is one story sure to leave you frightened of the woods at night, fog, and all things tall and slender.

It took me a bit to get into this story. There were a lot of characters and it kept jumping from the past to the present. It could be a tad confusing at times. Interesting story of an old curse made by twin brothers for their sister. Scary monster that came from the fog to kill anyone who stepped into the woods or saw it. There was almost too much going on all through the story. For me would have been better if structured differently. An interesting story though.

I'll never look at fog the same way again

A spooky tale brought to life with the rich, resonate narration from Tom Dwight. A fun October listen.

This book is descriptive and full of heart pounding action thanks to author Caroline Angel and narrator Tommy Dwight. Tommy Dwight did an excellent job narrating building suspense as he tells the story. I like how the author gives you the backstory while still telling you what is going on in the present. The only parts that I took offense to was the use of the terms "Savages" and " Red Skin" being that I am half Indigenous those terms pissed me off but other than that the book is exceptional. I highly recommend this book. I received this book for free and this is my honest unbiased review.

I don't scare when I read/ listen to books, but I can identify that fog and a creep creature could scare someone.
I really enjoyed this story, but chapters rotated into the past ( to explain the curse), and one time someone spoke to me and I didn't hear the chapter heading was in the past. It was my own fault, but I was confused momentarily.
At least the author gave us a proper explaination and history instead of the creature just existing.
This one had a decent ending also

Good listen

Like so many of the previous books from Red Cape Publishing, wasn't let down with this. A real winner.
