Three decades...Five Riftwars...One magnificent saga: Magician's End is the final book in New York Times bestselling author Raymond E. Feist's science fiction epic Riftwar Cycle.

Thirty years ago, Feist's first novel, Magician, introduced us to an orphan boy named Pug, who rises from slavery to become a Master Magician, and to Midkemia and the Riftwar, an epic series of battles between Good and Evil that have scarred Pug's world for generations.

After twenty-nine books, Feist delivers the crowning achievement of his renowned bestselling career: Magician’s End, the final chapter in The Chaos Wars, the climax of his extraordinary Riftwar Cycle.

Pug, now the greatest magician of all time, must risk everything he has fought for and everything he cherishes in the hope of destroying an evil enemy once and for all. But to achieve peace and save untold millions of lives, he will have to pay the ultimate price.

John Meagher does an acceptable reading for this final series, though I would have preferred Peter Joyce for consistency.

Great end to a wonderful saga

Wow, what a journey. For lovers of mystery and fantasy, the (current) end of Pug's journey through wars, gods, loves, deaths and more wraps up the stories in a very satisfactory way.

It's definitely a long journey, but as a wise man once said, the most important step a man can take is always the next one.

A sublime ending

It took a bit of time to get into the story as it was years ago that I read the prior books in this series. There’s no recap or framing, the story just starts in and doesn’t pause. Otherwise, it was a nice finish.

Not a stand alone tale

One of my pet peeves is when I start listening to a series by an author only to find out the content is only partially available. I notice missing volumes of mr. Feist work on the US website, the country he is from and yet when I checked the European websites of audible many of those volumes exist. Imagine a US company and a US author who’s content is nit available in his country of origins.

I’m not sure you agree of disagree but man wouldn’t it be great if Audible had our back and didn’t leave us in a position to have to jump from the middle of a story to the end.

though predictable in some areas the story had a pleasant ending. I have to say the performer really stepped up in this last book. I am sorry to say good bye to the characters I've been traveling with and will reread these one day definitely.

Great ending to the series
