This unique program with Jungian Analyst, Dr Marion Woodman features a compilation of rare and unique talks on the subjects of:

The Addictive Personality,

Marion Woodman was a Canadian mythopoetic author, poet, analytical psychologist and women's movement figure. She has written and spoken extensively about the dream theories of Carl Jung.

Woodman taught high school English for more than twenty years. Suffering from anorexia, she took a sabbatical and traveled first to India and then to England, where she became interested in the theories of Carl Jung; she then enrolled in the C. G. Jung Institute in Zürich, training to be an analyst.

Woodman was listed in Watkins' Mind Body Spirit Magazine in 2012 as one of the 100 most spiritually influential living people.

Marion's work is incredibly important. In the talk in which she refers to slides, it was possible for me to hear the title and pull up the painting/image on my phone or computer to follow along. This isn't possible for all but her words are still full of insight. There is a lot of noise in some of the talk but it is still possible to hear what she's saying. When questions are asked they are not always audible but Marion's responses provided enough context. I recommend all of Marion's recordings and books—and the documentary/interviews too.

Invaluable

This compilation consists of different talks from Marion Woodman, which in themselves are so interesting and captivating (despite the very bad audio quality), however they're choppy. There's a part where she shows her audience different images and then discuss about what they represent for her or the feelings they invoke - this goes on for about nearly an hour. This is borderline a joke to be included in an Audiobook. As all we can hear is the audience reactions (example laughter) and Marions subtle reactions to these images.

The Compilation isn't great, although her work is.

Keep in mind this is more a complication of recorded lectures than an audiobook—the sound quality varies but it’s lovely to hear Marion’s wisdom in her own voice
