I recently discovered I am the previously believed dead Fae King. But it isn’t all coronations and revolution like I’d hoped.

Bramble’s Edge Academy was established to train Fae how to control and wield their elemental power. And, I have only completed one of three years. I don’t have the power I need.

I have more power than I bargained for and no idea how to utilize it. Let alone eliminate the ones responsible for my parent’s death before they get to me, too.

Word gets out that the king is back, and my friends scramble to mask my identity. Those responsible for the destruction of Fae society turn up the heat on me, leaving those that I love in the crossfire. Maurelle and Brokk end up getting burned.

Whether I like it or not, I must take huge risks if I am going to save those closest to me and have a shot at freeing the rest of the realm. The clock is ticking, and time has almost run out.

Fantastic story!

I believe this story to be a fantastic story. It the second book in the series and by far even better than the first.
I definitely recommend this author because she has a style of drawing you into the story. This is a well written and narrated story.
The narrator does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character which makes it easy to distinguish between the characters and voices of each character. I love that Alex Black does both male and female voices and does them good enough that you believe there is more than one person narrating.
I definitely recommend this book!

Interesting continuation of this faery tale

An interesting continuation of the faery tale having a new king awaken and the king’s Nate have a harem of lovers…. If the sex scenes were removed it would be a great YA book

Masking the Fae King

Masking the Fae King by Brenda Trim is a wonderful fae paranormal fantasy. Alex Black did a fantastic job with the narration. Masking the Fae King is the second book in Bramble’s Edge Academy series. The story is romantic, entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, and more. You can understand the plot if you didn’t listen to the first book but there is a cliffhanger of sorts in both books. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

I didn’t listen to book one for some reason and you could still follow the storyline starting with two.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator did a great job of differentiating between all of the voices. The narrator really brought this book to life. The author had well developed characters and a moving plot. There was enough tension in the book to keep you interested. Loved that there was a firm storyline even with detailed sex scenes within the novel. Many times the story is lost and the sex is the focus. This author did a fantastic job of writing this novel. Going to check and see if I download book 3.
