One Of The Great Works

I was exposed to stoicism several years ago, it has since changed my life. You can see the threads of much of what Aurelius writes in modern self mastery and in religious texts, about how to properly live one's life; truthful, just, and meek. I try my best to live up to these ideals.

good book

Trying to switch up my reading. Good book. It's interesting to see the thoughts and perspectives of someone that lived almost 2000 years ago. The author was very intelligent and well spoken.. @XTRNL619

Fantastic take on a fantastic book.

Very well worth the listen - many quotable passages, and the speaker is understandable even at 1.5x speed.

great narrator, tough books

the narrator dies an excellent job given the material he is presented with. Aurelius, of course, is brilliant.
