As I am in my early stages of learning stoicism, this was a great listen. I appreciate Van Natta's thoroughness to providing a full picture of stoic ideals in an engaging and understandable format. I also find that Rimpici's dictation for the audio provided easy listening as he imparts Van Natta's works with an easy energy.

A good outline on mindfulness

i enjoy the concepts and practice of the topic at hand but find the narration of the book dry and forgettable. 80% thru the book the narrator exclaimed "festival!" and I was so caught off guard it was a glaring reminder I struggled to pay attention thru most of the book.

dry and does little to grip the listener. Still a great book
