Menopause.

It shouldn’t be a dirty word, especially as virtually half of the population will go through it at some point in their lives, but sometimes it feels like it is, with society brushing it under the carpet like a taboo subject. It is a part of womanhood we can't avoid, so it’s about time we talk about it, embrace it, and be honest with ourselves and others about our unique journeys.

Not only will sharing and discussing our concerns, questions, and laughable moments help our fellow menopausal sisters learn and relate, but younger women will feel guided and prepared for what is yet to come. By opening the conversation, we will begin to understand this phenomenon in more depth and discover that we aren’t alone in our struggles which will also help us all feel more empowered and confident enough to continue to live a "normal" and fruitful life, in spite of menopause.

Maybe I’m too far on my wellness journey but the info wasn’t new to me. I wish there were some personal stories, and the author went more in depth. Overall if you are new to wellness and health this will be insightful but if not it gets a bit repetitive.
The narrator had a great voice and easy to listen to!

This book provided me reassurance that what I am experiencing is common and not unique to me. I listened to the naysayers of HRT and I have suffered more than 15 years un menopause after a hysterectomy. I was dismissed a d overlooked by rhe system. My regular doctor who is an a woman from Nigeria told me to not try HRT and to

I appreciate this book as I'm officially in menopause and I needed to know many of the solutions to my struggle. My Mom and Grandmas never talked to me about this and I'm having to rely on literature like this book (really good, by the way) and talks with my girlfriends. The advice in this book is practical and doable. I'll definitely reference it often.

Very helpful

When this is your first time experiencing these changes in your life this is considered “the unknown”… I have o my heard so very little if what happens to your body as a women when you begin to go through menopause or premenopausal changes… I have to admit it was a little scary for me…This book clear up a lot of my thoughts and the “whys and what’s happening” to me… Thank you
