Short short for Jodi Picoult

It's a great short story from Jodi Picoult, no doubt, but I just wanted more. I barely got an understanding for the characters and the situation and it was over.

Not a fan

I absolutely love Jodi Picoult. She is my favorite author, but this story was so hard to follow. Like all of her stories, it was magnificently written, but it was a complete enigma. As someone that has gone through a pregnancy loss, I can understand what she was going for, but it perhaps went too far and needed to be reeled in a bit before ending.

Very short!

it's an interesting story, but I didn't realize it was a short story when I purchased it. imagine my disappointment when I saw that it was 45 min of listening time.
I feel like I'd love to read more about the characters and the events of the story, but it just ended. I just felt like it left me hanging before even it began. I am interested in reading more by this author, but this was disappointing. the narrator did a good job.

Too short

This is a short story not a full novel. I felt a little mislead. I love the author and the story was still good.

Sad

Such a sad and lonely journey so many women endure. There are no comforting words. Usually they make things worse. Grief, loss, and trying to reconcile expectations all while feeling so much pain. Then just a glimmer of hope places the lightest of touches and the long journey of healing can begin.
