I started this book at 35 weeks. Did the meditations and affirmations daily and listened through the book twice. I had a beautiful birth. It was not pain free but I had a different perspective on the pain (this is my fifth baby) and felt more in control.

The techniques and information in this book helped me prepare and have a successful, quick labor and delivery of my second child. I would highly recommend this book and hypnobirthing preparations in general. I found having an audio book most helpful as my toddler prevents me from sitting down to read. I listened to the hypnobirthing tracks during labor which helped me stay focused. You can download more tracks from the author's website, to store on your phone as mp3s.

This is such a beautifully written book and the author did a wonderful job narrating. Listening to the entire book was as relaxing as the hypnobirthing tracks. She gives you great tools in order to stay calm during your pregnancy and birth.
