Easy listening and the narrator did a good job. I would easily consider another of these books

Cynthia Darlow is a brilliant narrator. Latesha and Lillian steal the show for me, as their voices tickle me no matter what they are saying.

Such fun!

This wonderful slice-of-life story about Mrs. Julia Murdoch, or Miss Julia as everybody in Abottsville, NC calls her, is an amusing, clean romp with friends neighbors and family. When an unexpected guest is pretty much dumped in her lap, Miss Julia’s proper Southern training and hospitality kicks in and unexpected adventures, misadventures and challenges ensue. A good-hearted story and a terrific narrator, you’ll enjoy this lovely audiobook.
