This novella is fictionalized accounts of what our Native American women and girls lived through and died by the hands of assailants of all backgrounds that think indigenous women are invisible. The gutsy, intelligent Native American tribal detective in this novel is teamed up with an FBI special agent who she has to teach the culture and family life of the people he's sworn to protect but has barely been exposed to throughout his life.

Authentic

Definitely village / rez life. Coming from a small village, this story brings relevant perspectives into our lives.

Very draw a person in kind of title.

I disliked all the swearing. But it was very in lighting. I had no idea all that went on.

Horrible narration

This was an interesting story but the narration was so bad it was painful. Some of the characters sounded like computer produced while others were way overdone.

The headline of the book

The narrator was terrible and annoying to listen to. Very whiney & nauseating. The story was okay but wish I'd have read the book myself.
