Instinctively, the gentleman in question raised his hand and stepped backward to avoid the object, tripping Miss Elizabeth Bennet and then falling upon her prone form. Scandalous! A marriage must occur, of course. But he does not want to marry an unknown country miss and she most certainly does not want to marry the proud, dour Mr. Darcy. Can they find their way to one another despite this inauspicious beginning?

Virtual Voice narrations should cost less

It's an interesting, if somewhat far-fetched, premise, and because of it, the book has to do some heavy lifting to keep your interest. Which it almost does. Regarding the virtual voice, I've listened to two VV books, now, both by AnnaMarie Wallace. This one is less objectionable than the other one, but it will be a sorry world if this takes over.

Virtual voice was ok

This was a different start to P&P. Elizabeth and mr Darcy had not even talked when they are compromised. Interesting. Good jaff

Enjoyable Story

It is a nice story, well told and engaging, I selected without looking at the description since I didn't have time to browse, and was a very good surprise.

Good Story - Better than Expected VV

It’s a shame this story was done by Virtual Voice. A good Narrator would have made it 4.5 stars. I liked this variation very much, interesting setup, good characterization, good follow through. This version of VV wasn’t as bad as some I’ve heard, but many of the usual errors in pronunciation, and the like.

True to P&P characters

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! It is as it says, a Pride and Prejudice variation. Basically, they took known characters and ran with a different storyline. Admittedly, it took me a little while to get into it but now I’m disappointed it’s over. Highly recommend.
