Good Easy Listen!

I really enjoyed this audio. The narrator did a great job! It was fairly quick audio and I listened to it at 1.5 speed for most of it. Autumn found Mitch just when she needed him most. Their love story is one that was written in the stars. Autumn showed up looking for a room to rent but she had no idea what she was going to find. This single mother deserves her second chance at love and all the protection/family that comes with Eidolon.

Mitch and Autumn's story has written in the stars all over it, as two pasts collide in an unforeseen way in their present. Autumn had luck on her side as she's placed in Mitch's path, which means also gaining not only his protection and support but that of all of Eidolon as danger stalks her and her baby. As fate would have it, an unexpected love also springs amongst the bad, giving these two an HEA after all the action and suspense is over. Carl Mason's narration brings the story to life.

Contemporary

I enjoyed Mitch and Auntumn's story. This story had great characters, flow and a HEA. Carl Mason as the narrator was perfect for this book.

Mitch & Autumn!

Oh, the Eidolon Black Ops men. Each one,their own baggage but hearts of gold. There is something about each one that has won my heart, but Mitch is super special. It's by chance that Autumn comes to be his tenant with her adorable daughter Maggie. The two have an attraction that is explosive, but Autumn has a past that she may not be able to shake. This is a fast paced story, and a slow burn romance is both intriguing and heart warming. Autumn is a strong woman, and she knows keeping Maggie safe is her goal. But she deserves some happiness too, right? Mitch, the eldest of the team, thought his time had passed, but Autumn has sparked the light in him. And the scenes with Maggie...be still my heart. Maddie Wade has created a family with her Black Ops team, one that gives that feeling of having their backs and knowing their hearts. It's another fantastic listen and addition to the series.

Carl Mason just adds to the story. His pacing, his voices and his ability to tell the story is exactly what enhances it all. He is perfect as each character, giving the appropriate feelings and inflections to make me feel everything. Whether it's danger or love, I was there in the story and he made the time fly by.

Finally got Mitch Story

I loved this whole series. I know they got released out of order but it was def easy to follow them all. I love this series because I love those military type romances with an HEA. Mitch in this book was such a huge protector in this book but wore his heart on his sleeve. My jaw dropped when the girl he was following for brought up a blast from his past. Mitch was determined to do anything to rescue his girl. Even kill for her. It took Autumn to talk him off the ledge and do the right thing. Carl did a good job narrating this story and Maddie sure does know how to write a story that keeps you wanting more even after the end.
