Good book, good story

Overall very good. The narrator does a good job but maybe isn’t the best for this book. It starts slow but is worth a listen.

Definitely More Than I Expected

I went in thinking this would be your typical Western shootout tale but nope, it surprised me in the best way. It’s got grit, heart, and characters that feel alive. I found myself rooting for them while folding laundry and even taking the long way home just to keep listening. The narrator really nailed the tone too it felt like being transported to another time. If you want a story that’s more than dust and bullets, this one delivers big.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this story blended western grit with a supernatural edge in a way that really worked. The pacing kept me hooked, and the world felt fresh compared to other books I’ve read in the genre. The characters had depth, and I found myself rooting for them through every twist. By the end, I was ready for more in the series.
