Great book, the twists and turns kept me listening.

The writing was great and the story was realistic, unlike other legal thrillers! The narration was well performed!

Loved this book!

I could not stop listening to this book. It grabbed me from the start. It’s a mystery, a thriller and a legal all in one. I really hope there is going to be more from this author. Please let this book be the first of a series.

This book ticks all the boxes for a hard-boiled noir, and the narrator hits the mark just right. Allan takes a hard look at racism in the legal system without flinching, and the reader feels every punch in the gut as the story unfolds. If you love a mystery with a gut-wrenching twist, this is the book for you. Highly recommend.

Moved well, entertaining. Clean, thorough, light, easy read. Decent characters. Protagonist was likable. If you’re from MKE or WI there will be relatable reverences.
