Love this series, but narrator detracts.

I’ve enjoyed the engaging characters and stories, but the hesitant cadence and almost whiny tone of of the narrator are definitely a downside. I still listened to the full series though, so it is tolerable.

Liked the mystery,but it was slow to develop. Can't wait too read the next book in the series.

I love the Tate and Bell series! Great characters, interesting plots and slow burn romance. Excited for the 4th book.

Great drama, mystery and intrigue as clues keep you listening intently trying to come up with all the possible endings that could be in store! Another great murder mystery by this very talented author, assisted by a spectacular narrator! Don't miss this one!

I stuck it out to the end but it was sheer determination!

My goodness but this one moved slowly! Too much minutiae & detail. Though I loved the Crimea nursing connection, it was hard to keep plodding on. And could the romance between the inspector &!the nurse move any slower…? I think not.
