A dead judge, a college porn queen, and a castle in Kansas. Clearing her husband’s name is just part of the honeymoon.

When the county judge is murdered and Kat’s district attorney husband of far less than six months is not only a suspect, but now the lead attorney in another murder case, Kat has to find the killer to clear his name.

Sometimes a guard dog is just as important as a former Green Beret, and Kat was grateful to both of them when they saved her life!

Plenty of dogs and recipes in this cozy mystery by a USA Today best-selling author and Amazon All-Star.

This story deals with the porn industry in a gentle way, and even touches on ways to help porn addicts. I enjoyed trying to figure out who the murderer was out of the several suspects. Dianne Harman’s stories are the perfect length, and although she’s a prolific writer she’s always able to write unique stories. I liked the narrator for this book.

A good whodunnit

Murdered at the Courthouse is #3 in the Midwest Cozy Mystery series by Dianne Harman. A judge is murdered after an argument with Blaine, who is the District Attorney and Kat’s husband. Kat gets involved investigating the case to clear his name. Along the way she learns that pornography may be part of the case. The story is well written and the characters are very relatable. They seem like people you’d meet anywhere in your town. The narration by Susan Carlson is well done. She brings the characters and story to life.

Kat does it again!
