Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I read this became son needed it for school. I really enjoyed the descriptions of the American West and the characters. Here's my question: what's the point? We never know exactly who the wife in the beginning of the story is, the one who didn't like Antonia.I waited the whole story, a and we never learn that.
I guess the argument is that these wonderful, hard-working immigrant girls took over the prairie and became America- losing their teeth along the way.
I don't know.
