My Ántonia

The final book in Willa Cather's Great Plains trilogy, My Ántonia is a lyrical tribute to the bygone pioneer life and the struggles and successes of America's early settlers.

My Antonia

Well written and interesting story! Quite a saga and life led during that time period.

Robert G. Slade was stellar!

I found the audio performance to be one of the best, if not the best, among the many audible books I’ve enjoyed. The story really came alive with through the dynamic narrator. So impressed.

Good narration

Very pleasant and good book. I enjoy it. I think I liked it more on audible than if I had read it.

Americana at it’s very finest

I have read this story a number of times, and yet, this retelling made it all new and even more beloved for me. The reader is magnificent in his ability to bring each character to life. I previewed several other Audible renditions, and this is the best by far.
Willa Cather, to me, is one of the greatest of authors, and not to be missed.

Beautifully written

This books is to beautifully written and evokes such emotion and memory in the reader.

The narrator took a chapter or two to get used to but after that, I was deeply immersed.
