i love this series.

the only thing was it was starting to go into harem territory but it pulled it back in.

Too careful

I feel like the MC is so busy being cautious of giving away advantages and not causing conflict with what ifs, that he causes some of his own biggest problems. Not the worst book but kind of frustrating watching him repeatedly cause his own issues in-between all his wins.

the story telling really dropped off

it felt like a recap, glossing over what happens and then referring to things im positive where never mentioned for the sake of moving on. near complete lack of actual story and more of just telling the reader things happened and "MC is even cooler now, dont ask how or why" very disappointing to be honest the first book did a good job of world building, doesn't even feel like the same author
