Lord Henry Radcliffe, the scarred but sinfully sexy Earl of Langlevit, is a beast. The only way Henry can exorcise the demons of his war-ravaged past is through intense physicality. In and out of bed. An endeavor that has no shortage of willing participants.

Intent on scandalizing London, Princess Irina Volkonsky is a hellion and every gentleman's deepest desire....except for one. Irina knows better than to provoke the wickedly forbidding earl, but she will stop at nothing short of ruination to win the heart of the only man she's ever loved.

But when one scandalous kiss makes dangerous passions ignite, neither of them can fight their sizzling attraction. When a sinister plot emerges to threaten them both, they will have to fight one last battle, this time for the ultimate prize...love.

Contains mature themes.

I nearly decided after the last book to take a break from this series and find something a little more hot, dark, and angsty, but now I am so glad I didn’t. I liked this one most of all thus far!
While the formula for all the stories appears to be the same, which is often true of romances: man and woman meet, there’s sexual tension, some obstacle keeps them apart, but they can’t keep their hands off each other, something life-changing happens, and they give in, then whatever subplot there is comes to a resolution (a traitorous friend/family member seems to be the common modus operandi)—cue the HEA, this one was still more riveting. It was little steamier, too—not much, but some. I really enjoyed this one. Very well-written, moved along at an excellent pace, and excellent narration.

Book 3 tells all about the youngest Russian princess and how clever she is and was!
Arena was bound and determined to not ever be a victim again! Best friend may not be one!
