Good story but distracting virtual voice

I liked the story of survival but it’s very irritating to hear so many mispronounced words…both English and especially French.

Excellent book, terrible audiobook

This was my fault- I didn’t realize this was “computer narrated” and at first though it wouldn’t be that bad.

It was bad.

The book itself was excellent and I highly recommend- just not as an audiobook!

Not just another holocaust story

I like the fact that there are so many different stories observe eyeball on so many different fronts and this is just another one

Terrible pronunciation

AI cannot replace a human speaker! Multiple repeated mispronunciation of common words such as resume, TreblinkA, etc. seriously detracted from the story.

AI Voice surprisingly good, but…

Polish came out like polish, as in shoe polish. Otherwise delightful listen. Who knew humor could find a place in Holocaust memoirs?
