An empowering story for humankind!

Even as a woman in my 40s, this story is amazing! Tears of joy and sadness, moments of laughter and smiles, and even anger and anguish for some of the characters experiences. I wish I had been able to listen to this story as a teen. An amazing female character and the story of the most beautiful friendship. The story transports you into the post apocalyptic world and gives you hope for humankind. Recommended for people of all ages!!

Character development of X, I became emotionally invested in her character by the way the author told her story!

I had several moments of getting goosebumps throughout the novel. The narrator did a fantastic job in the audio version of this book, it was as if a close friend was sharing a fantastic story with me. I loved listening to this!
