Gamer vs Player.

Some girls have a dream guy, but Suzie's ideal boyfriend is totally real. He’s just...virtual.

Suzie doesn't need to see her online gaming buddy to know that he’s her perfect match. The problem lies in reality, AKA high school. Ever since a humiliating photo of her surfaced on the first day of senior year, she hasn't been able to escape the attention of Luke Warner, the hottie player who's apparently made it his mission to annoy her. Now that they're paired together in a programming contest there's no way she can avoid him...or their chemistry. His unexpected kisses might be earth shattering, but he’s so not her type.

Luke's got a secret, and it's one that could change everything between him and his new computer science partner. Suzie thinks he doesn’t know her at all, and she seems convinced that she doesn’t like him. But what if she knew that he was her online BFF? That would change everything. But will sharing his secret bring them together or tear them apart?

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. Great YA book. This book covers all the emotions. It is funny, sad, intriguing and exciting. A computer game brings a jock and a nerd together. Very cute book. The narrators were great for this high school story.

The perfect mix of sweet teen romance and geeky fandoms. I loved book one and book 2 was just as good. This series reminds me of Geekerella. I'd definitely recommend for all those hardcore fans of comic con and book events. You'll find yourself smiling through the story.

Great second book of a series! I enjoyed the main characters, Luke and Suzie, even more than the previous book. There was some good little bits of the continuation of the main storyline that will follow through the trilogy. I am not into gaming and even though that is was Luke and Suzie are into it was kept light enough that I did not feel bored from gaming details. Very cute story!
I think ill let my daughter listen to these.. 🎧AudiobookObsession

I *heart* Luke! I remember having an online gaming bestie like that when I was younger and it was everything. I'm glad they had each other to confide in with their problems. But one thing I hated was how Margo (in the previous book) along with Suzie and Matt couldn't see that Jason and Luke were not friends with Supreme Moronic Leader and Resident Mean Girl. Sure, they hang around in the same social circles, but that didn't mean they were ACTUALLY friends. Luke just needed an excuse to escape from his father so he went to their parties, acquaintances be damned. Meanwhile, Jason needed to keep the guys in line as captain of the football team. I was also super peeved with Matt and his hang-ups with US vs. THEM mentality. Thankfully, Suzie Q proved to be super wise in that she recognizes holding on to anger only hurts herself. She and Luke make such a great team. They truly deserve their HEA! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
