Holiday kinda but still nice

This audiobook had me side-eyeing Zachary Becker (Mr. Naughty) at first he came across as detached and chilly, to the point where I wondered if he was coded autistic. Turns out, nope. He was just hopelessly in love with Madison Taylor and hiding it behind a frosty exterior. Classic romance move, but it worked.

The setup? Zach proposes a flash engagement a marriage of convenience designed to impress investors and close a deal. To make it look convincing, Madison has to move in, spend the holidays with him, and even travel at his side. She’s been wronged before, so the arrangement feels safe… until feelings start creeping in, because of course they do.

It’s short, it’s spicy, and it’s holiday-perfect. I’ll be honest: Zach’s treatment of Madison sometimes pissed me off. Cold doesn’t always equal swoony. But the payoff was worth it, and the friendship between Madison and Erin was the real MVP. Erin nudged her out of her comfort zone, but also held space when things got messy. Honestly, we all need that kind of furniture in our lives sturdy, supportive, and stylish.

Overall: a quick listen that balances sass, spice, and a dash of cozy holiday cheer. Not flawless, but fun enough to keep me hooked and grinning.

Cute story! Chemistry between characters is good! I loved the story line, have read books from this author before and not disappointed.

Wow wow…

I absolutely loved this audible book. It was funny, heated, and made for a very relaxing few evenings while I crocheted. I smiled enough listening to it, that people questioned what was so funny. Very enjoyable holiday story!.

LOVED IT

Madison finds herself in a fake relationship/ fake fiancé situation with her CEO boss and crush Zachary. The narration is great, and the female narrator changes her voice during Zachary's lines in the book.
