TERRIBLE NARRATOR

I could not get past the first chapter because the Narrator was absolutely abysmal. In my opinion she is not a good fit for this book. Her voice seems better suited for children's book.
Unfortunately I will have to return this book.

A Fast Listen

The story was ok seemed kind of rushed. I just wished they had a black woman reading the story and a man reading the guys part. Not saying anything wrong with the reader but just not for bwwm romance.Plus it was weird hearing her say the n word.

Love Jamila Jasper books

Jamila is a great writer and I enjoy here BWWM stories. The title of this one is a bit misleading. The heroine is not sexy-naughty, in fact she is really a good girl caught up in a drama where she must give her man the benefit of the doubt. The narrator’s voice does not match most of the characters. I imagine it’s hard to mimic ethnic voices or certain dialects. She does a great job with tone and moves the story along. This is not one of my favorite JJ books - I’m still a fan tho

I have listened to Jamila Jasper books before, but this on was not good. There was no point or plot. I am requesting my credit back.
