Lori King does a great friends to lovers romance

I really loved the story. I felt like I was invested with what happened to the best friends turned pregnant lovers. I felt this is pretty real life and enjoyed the journey.

Bristol and Roan

This was such a nice story. Their night of passion on the evening of the party before Roan's deployment leads to pregnancy. Neither of them knows what will happen when he returns home. This book was an enjoyable listen. Blair Seibert did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Enjoyed it thoroughly. Characters are well developed, narrator very pleasant to listen to and engaging.

Roan & Bristol!

What a fun listen this is! It's not long, but gives us a great start to this family series. Roan and Bristol have been best friend's forever. When Roan is getting ready to be deployed, again, Bristol, in a drunken state makes a move that the two have a night of passion. Now pregnant with Roan miles away, the two delve into the their new found relationship. But will they find love? This is a wonderful story of friends to lovers. I love the characters, they are real, have serious issues and questions regarding their lives and work their way through. I especially love Roan's family of siblings, and each time one is referred to be a number, it just makes me smile. It is a great listen and I am looking forward to more of this series.

Blair Seibert is a new to me narrator and I really enjoyed her performance. Great pacing, the voices matching the personalities of the characters and her consistency all made her portrayal entertaining. I will be watching for more from her.

Great love story!

I absolutely loved this book! The author does a great job of telling a story and laying out the ground work for a fabulous story. This storyline is definitely well written. I can’t wait for more books in this series. Lori King is a wonderful author that has a wonderful imagination and a spectacular way of telling a story. This is the first book by this author and I can’t wait to listen to more of her books.
The narrator does a excellent job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters.
It’s a definite must listen to!
