Following the disappearance of numerous vessels, Thomas Rodney leads the members of Raptor Pack to Mauto, a small island nation in the Pacific Ocean. Utilizing the inventions of Dr. Howard Tate, they set out to determine the cause.

Before long, the ugly truth reveals itself. A menacing threat has awakened, and it is unlike anything they have yet faced.

Multi-limbed, armored, and capable of great bursts of speed, the latest of mutations seeks to rule the sea and eradicate anything that dares challenge it. It has the strength to crush the hulls of warships and a temper to kill regardless of whether it feels hungry.

Before the meteor storm, it was a simple nautilus, tranquil and elegant. For the people of Mauto, it is a nightmarish monster, bloodthirsty and vehement.

Fortunately for them, monsters are G.O.R.E. Sector’s specialty

Nautilus

Nautilus by Michael Cole is a great entry to the G.O.R.E Sector series. The overall story is fun and engaging. I also really enjoyed the character development with Howard. Who was definitely the stand out character of this one. As for the creature that the Nautilus gives us, it grants us the intelligence of a Cephalopod. With one of the toughest armor Cole has ever given a creature. Making it truly a deadly foe. The kills in this one are pretty good nothing to over the top but grounded in reality if this creature really were to exist and attack people. All in all i would give this one five out of five stars and would defiantly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Creature Features or just enjoys a fun read.

It was ok

good story happy to hear another story from Gore sector but it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be the other two were exciting action packed this one not so much at least not to me.
