The sequel to Negus volume one, Negus II continues with another compilation of African-American science fiction. With memories of the planet Earth not too far behind, Huey's journey on the new planet of Negus resumes with Rosa and Kwame. Rosa discovers another phenomenon related to the decalcification of pineal glands. Previously introduced in book one and the stand-alone book, The Melanins continue as visitors from another planet trek to the United States. The collection also includes brand new stories such as "The Guardians", told from the perspective of spirit guides, and "Skin-Deep", a tale of a modern day bride in an alternate universe, who undergoes an eye-opening transformation. Whether you're obsessed with outer space, spirituality, conspiracy theories, magic, or science fiction, Negus II explores the "what-ifs", intended to leave listeners in deep thought.

Just a brief overview. There’s a story about moving to a different planet because the people of earth were abandoned by the higher echelon of “leaders” there will be a few that you will know by name even though she doesn’t mention names. There’s a story how the devil became a snake. A lesson about listening to your intuition and the consequences when we don’t and the rewards when we do. There’s a story about a phenomenon of LITERALLY changing when you’re a nasty person personality wise and how we ask for things and it’s given but we still fail to realize it. There’s a story that will give you a different perspective on animals… completely eye opening “Cielo”… Geesh. There’s a story about children being protected until a certain age and it’s wild. This book also touches on banded books and the dangers of Ebooks (buy those physical copies). Then there’s one of my favorites, the stories of the people of a small town in Mississippi where some of them would rather die than to be black. I loved loved loved this story!
Anyway you won’t be disappointed and happy reading. It’s a wonderful collection!
Loved it!
