Great origin story!

I’m a huge Behind Blue Eyes fan so I eagerly dove into Nephilim!

This is a great origin story. The small bits of Nephilim’s last that we already knew were expanded on, giving us a full picture of her life before she became a Guardian Angel.

I listened to this on audiobook and the narrator did a fantastic job. The characters were all voiced perfectly and the short length had me finishing the book in about a day.

This is another amazing installation in the Behind Blue Eyes saga and I highly recommend it to anyone who has read the series or those who are curious about it and haven’t had a chance to start!

Excellent prequel novel that can also stand alone

The narrator is excellent in this book, just as in the other two BBE audio books.

This is a well writen tightly focused plot. It can stand alone or if you have read the other BBE novels then it makes this all the more enjoyable. It's a treat as the reader to see her origin story developed further and to get a more detailed glimpse of the inner workings of the Angel Corps.

I'm excited for book 2 to come out!

MONSTERS AREN'T BORN

The way a prequel should be done. Further expands the world in a natural way. it's very exciting to see where nephilim came from, and overcoming the trials and tribulations of becoming an angel. eagerly awaiting the sequel.

Listened to it in one sitting!

I listened to this audiobook in just one evening after work. It was so enjoyable, even more than I expected! It was really cool to get the back-story on the iconic Nephilim. Jessica did an amazing job with the narration and the characters. I personally listened to this audiobook after BBE 3 (no other BBE audiobooks are out just yet at the time of this review). In any case, I definitely recommend listening to this origin story at some point after getting to know the main BBE cast. It's really cool to "meet" some of them as children and see how they become what the ultimately become... killer cyborgs! Will definitely listen to the others as I wait for the other BBE books to come out as audiobooks.

Enthralling Origin Story

If you've read Behind Blue Eyes, Nephilim gives added depth to the title character. Not only that but we get a peak behind the curtain at the psychology behind the Guardian Angels. With two more novellas in the series, I'm eager to see where the story goes.
