At the end of the story you are anticipating more conclusions. The author definitely could have gotten many more miles out of the story, but good nonetheless.

It ends too soon

This was a short story within the Reacher universe, and while it was good, it felt like it was missing something.

I’m a big fan when I read that Lee Charles was handing over Jack to his little brother. I was worried that it wouldn’t be the same quality that he wouldn’t understand Jack as a character. I was really worried. I’m no longer worried. This was phenomenal one of the best short stories I’ve ever read, the author understands Jack

If I didn’t know, I would’ve thought it was Lee Child writing this

The story was actually more interesting than the most recent full length novel but the short story was too short. I didn’t feel like any of the plot points were explained well enough and then it just ends. Needed to be fleshed out a little.

Ends abruptly
