A great story to kick off the adventures of Jack’s brother, Joe Reacher! Plenty of surprises in the plot and masterful narration. I’m starting book 2 now, and looking forward to the rest!

Excellent story and narration!

While I was not expecting the style to be the same, so I was not disappointed in that. There were some points I feel the author left me wondering: I never got the reason why the FBI was so antagonistic. More could have been added to that.

In one part Marisol told Joe that Wells would explain something later…I must have missed it because I still don’t know and if it was as basic as “I was helping him” that could have been earlier.

Otherwise, a good story. I will listen to the rest.

The storyline was very weak. I asked interesting characters described poorly, and didn’t have what it takes to keep a book going
