Great series with a big “but….”

The reader has a very poor comprehension of nautical pronunciation, and a sad lacking of how to use punctuation!
I am getting used to it, but, occasionally, I have to back up to try to glean what the author meant, through the haze of the badly structured sentence.

Great Story - Awful Audiobook

I keep buying the books in this series since I really like the stories but the audiobook version is just awful. The cadence is weird and simple words like "Minotaur" and "Ensign" are mispronounced. It's really hard to believe this is a person because it really sounds like bad AI.
