Children are falling asleep all over town to unending nightmares of bullying and abuse. Monster-hunter Stella Familiar has to figure out how to chase down the perp. I love the action of these stories, and I love-love-LOVE the narrator, but I keep getting confused as to what the rules of magic are. Well, I guess as long as Stella understands them, Londoners will be safe in their beds!

I got this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoy this series! This story was just as good as the first, if not better. The narration is EXCELLENT! Heather Tracy has been added to my list of favorite narrators! I received a free copy and voluntarily left this review.

Great addition to the series

This was a great sequel and better than the first book! Once again, Stella must protect the citizens of London. One by one, children are falling asleep and not waking up, keeping them trapped in their nightmares. Stella and detective David Tyler must find a way to banish a monster from the past to save them all. I liked that we got to see more of David’s family in this book, but it did make for a more urgent matter to solve the case and an emotional ride. We also got to see Stella experience childhood emotions for the first time since she never had one whichwas very interesting. I love that the author uses unique monsters for this series instead of your everyday ones. This book was filled with suspense, action, and many new characters.
Heather did another great job with this narration! She managed to bring every character to life with their own voice and put emotion in her performance to make you feel for the characters.
