Having eaten in his studio - I see Forsyth and how he helps new, young talent grow and believe in themselves. So inspiring! Thank you for sharing your story - all of it- the good, the bad and the ugly. I will eat at your restaurant every time I am in Colorado Springs! Thank you!

Amazing honesty & heart

In a memoir such as this, you don't always know what you're going to get. After listening to the introduction, the quality of narration and writing left me ready to dive into Chef Brother Lucks' story.

This isn't your typical memoir, starting at birth and ending on a high, leading you to believe that everything is fine and life is easy. Instead, Chef Brother Luck takes you through several points in his life, the ups and downs, and how that played a part in who he is today. He was especially relatable when he discussed his vulnerability and mental health. Unexpectedly, this struck a chord with me when I found his story quite close to my own.

If his purpose of writing this book was to help those with similar stories, then he succeeded in my case. Otherwise, this is an entertaining book narrated and written by someone whose story should be told.

A delightful surprise
