I very much looked forward to this release, knowing the author would bring a new point of view in his retelling of classic Norse myths. He did not disappoint, and this book was a swift in clear prose style. I enjoyed the subtle humor that only enhanced a story where appropriate, and did not alter the pace of the legends.

Not disappointing

Extremely difficult to understand this performance and was distracting to listen to. Also, snakes aren't poisonous. They are venomous. This was said many times throughout the book.

I read various Norse myths years ago for an English class, and I really enjoyed them. The retold myths read easily and both remain true to the source material while not seeming antiquated.

Wonderful

This book is well I say. But it seems to me I'm not fully satisfied with the stories. It can't be happened to you though.
