Getting his way has never been a problem for Reese Jareau. That is, until what he wanted was seemingly unattainable. The baby of the Jareau family has fallen in love with a woman who’s already involved. What started as a work relationship soon turned into a friendship. But what happens when attractions run deep, emotions are high, and lines are crossed? Now, Reese is fighting to love a woman who loves him but can’t seem to leave her current situation.

Corelli Hendrix has found herself in an entanglement. On one hand, she’s committed to holding down her child’s father while he does a bid. On the other, she’s fallen in love with a man seven years her junior who treats her like a queen. Not only does he treat her the way she deserves, but he extends the same treatment to her daughter, making severing ties seemingly impossible.

When Miller, her daughter’s father, returns home on early release, Corelli tries her hardest to make the fantasy reunion work. Her heart, however, longs for Reese Jareau. The back and forth between them has grown tiresome and Reese has given her an ultimatum: choose me or lose me.

With limited options, Corelli must choose between the love she’s known and the love she’s found. Will it be an easy choice, or will it prove to be much harder than she or Reese ever imagined?

Nothin’ Like You feels like the exhale after holding your breath for way too long. This book leans hard into emotional connection—deep, intentional, and undeniable. It’s the kind of love story that doesn’t shout; it settles in and stays with you.

The passion is there, simmering just beneath the surface, but what really makes this installment stand out is the emotional certainty. There’s no confusion about desire here—only the tension that comes from timing, fear, and learning how to receive love when it finally shows up right. The intimacy feels earned, grounded, and deeply personal.

What I loved most is how safe the love feels without being boring. This is grown love. The kind where attraction is layered with respect, patience, and emotional awareness. The characters see each other clearly—and that level of being known is just as sexy as any physical moment.

Kimberly Brown does an amazing job showing that sometimes the strongest relationships aren’t the loudest ones—they’re the ones that feel steady, affirming, and real. Nothin’ Like You is about choosing love that doesn’t require you to shrink or perform. And honestly, that hit hard.

It was so good to see how Reese grew through each book. I loved how confident he was in his love for Corelli and Bellamy. I hate for this series to end. Kimberly Brown did an amazing job keeping us captivated by the Jareau. She should do a prequel on Edwin and Paloma’s love story.

The narration in this book was so much better. Glad Paloma lost her pseudo Spanish but Nigerian sounding accent from the male narrator and her southern accent from the female narrator.

Reese was my favorite Jareau sibling…

I love the story line and the message behind each character. They way each person found true under each circumstance was remarkably written.

Each character and what was most important to them in a person inorder to find true love

From book 1, I have loved Reese and couldn't wait for his love story. I absolutely adored how he stood on business when it came to the women in his family. I'm going to need those wedding books on audio 😩

I can't believe that it's over.
