Brutal

Excellent book, very violent, but everything needed to be told. The abuse was horrendous. The worst I've ever read about. So heartbreaking I found myself so sad for Hannah over and over again. How one person could suffer so severely and crawl out of that dark place is beyond me. Hannah will live with the affects of the abuse the rest of her life and that makes me so sad for her.

What an amazingly horrible story ( in a good way).
This woman was put through hell and came out the other side.

How much she took over & over.

The dialect pertaining to objects etc., the different words to get used to describe everyday things.

Excellent. No slow parts. Horrific wife abuse.

A tragic example of a wife and mother that stayed with her abuser, because that’s all she knew. What separates this book from the run of the mill wife abuse books is the way the husband forced the wife into a unique and disgusting form of prostitution. I won’t divulge more or it would be a spoiler.

This book is worth reading, and there are no slow chapters. Well narrated.,
