Fabulous Ending to a Fantastic Series

I've been waiting for the female character to get her own story and was not disappointed. Marialena Rossi has been a terrific character throughout the series, mischievous & fun loving. She's managed to avoid real trouble/consequences for the longest time and unfortunately for her, that time is now.

OR should I say, fortunately?

Enter Salvatore Capo. The complete opposite of each other, their attraction is nearly instant and when they finally come together, the heat is definitely on! She is a rule breaker to his downright dirty punishment. He is dark and broody to her ray of sunshine smile. They work so very well together, and I loved it!

Add in the twists and turns that mafia life supplies and it's a marriage made in heaven -- even if it was the day after they met. It works!

As always, the narrating team of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott is magical with their spot on voices. I love that you had them throughout the whole series. Thank you Ms. Henry for not only writing this wonderful series but making sure it is put here on Audible. I look forward to your next offering... I know it will be perfection!

Fantastic conclusion to the series!

Ah, Mariaelena! It's about time she comes into her own. A fiesty one she is, from the very start and now her choices have caught up with. Messing with the plans of Salvatore Capo is resulting in the total opposite of her choices. She quickly learns she has no choice though, and while not happy with the circumstance, she cannot deny their chemistry. But he gets a lot more than he bargained for. Yes, he wants her submission, but will she be willing to give it? This sassy woman brought so much to this cold mafioso, and when he thought he would never be attached, she won his heart. This is the perfect ending to the Rossi family series, though I am not sure I was ready for it to be over. They have become like family to me! If you haven't read/listened to these, grab them all and do them in order. While they stand alone, they are best read as they build on each other. Another fantastic romantic suspense series by one of my favorite authors.

And how to make it even better? Finish the series with Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. These two are the Rossi family and it could not have been better. With accents and building suspense, these two use their real life chemistry to bring the best out in a romance read. Loved every minute of their narration.

I am only on chapter 11 but oh my, what garbage and a total disappointment. Just a bunch of threats by the mobster husband and she is just sad.
