I'm really happy I got to listen to more adventures of these characters. I've you liked the first trilogy you shouldn't doubt. Otherwise I highly recommend giving the first books a chance.

Anger is fuel

Rue turns up the volume of her abilities when she is angered. What angers her, threatening or attacking her friends. Ashland is ancient and power, but Rue has a sub contract with her through Uma.

I am so enjoying this series.

Missed this series

This series got me into everything Benjamin Medrano writes, love these characters and am so happy to see their return, super cool moments, character growth and development between the party. Love love love

Rue's Back!

It is amazing to see how far Rue and her companions have come, and how far they still have to climb. It was also nice to see a bit of the wider world, and even how some things from other series have global effects.
