Jack is out for blood.

After being manipulated by his family most of his life, and believing an even worse lie for the past few years, he has finally learned the truth.

Now that he knows what V-Soft has taken from him, he’s going to take everything from them, even if the country is destroyed in the process. The plan is to strike from all sides, so that those who still live can watch their lives, and their life’s work be reduced to ashes.

But in digging their grave, will Jack wind up buried alongside them?

S-Grade Material

Jack Thorn has become one of my favorite characters and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Excellent!

Strong story, great narration, doesn't fall into the trap of a shit ton of stat points narration.

Hell of an ending!

Jack Thorne is a hot mess, but I like him nonetheless. Yes, his petty behavior can be childlike and he holds a grade better than your worst enemy, but he has busted his moral compass completely. Daggers and Bear bring the evolving friendship that is slowly bringing Jack around to more humane thoughts. I like that Jack doesn't compromise on his moral principals of slavery and goes after the slavers with raw violence.
Really a great book and I definitely recommend this series.

Slowly dissolving sociopath

I greatly enjoyed the first book in this series, but was hesitant to pick up the next one due to not seeing how the tale of Jack Thorn could continue with the absolute power V-Soft had over the game, but I was not disappointed! Castle does a wonderful job of progressing the plot in logical, realistic ways that allow for the story we enjoy to continue without pause!

If you liked the first book, you'll love this sequel!
