The quadrail is totally unbelievable for reasons too numerous to mention, but…

I still enjoyed the story, and if there is another book in the series I’ll listen to it as well. This is good space opera with never a dull moment. The plot is multi layered and clever.

fun and intriguing

This series never fails keep me hooked. A definite blast from beginning to end. I'm so glad that more of Timothy Zahn's older books are coming out on Audible.

Clever story with fun intrigue

This story was entertaining and expands the overarching narrative while introducing new characters and factions in the war against the Modhri.

I appreciate how Timothy Zahn manages the information available to both the readers and the characters at various points in the story. This approach creates numerous mysteries that are revealed at different times throughout the narrative.

Zahns Best Space Opera Yet

Engaging and enthralling storyline. Hard to put down. If you are looking for a who done it murder mystery don’t look past this series. Easily one of Zahn’s best.
