Continued Faith in Living YOUR Truth

What stood out to me the most would have to be Gloria's amazing ability to continue putting her faith in her angels, her will to survive but mostly, her ability to try bringing her abusers to justice. That is my biggest struggle with my own trauma as I was also told we don't talk about what happened. That it was "normal" for girls to be abused and it's something we keep quiet about. Gloria has inspired me to rethink this concept and possibly speak out one day.

Thank you. As a sexual assault survivor, I am not even close to a strong as the author is, but I know that she brings recognition to an area that people like to ignore. As far as the writing, as a survivor myself, it was a hard lesson, but also an honest truth, and everyone should hear this story. It makes us confront what is still happening with the children of the world that we pretend does not exist.

I just want to hug her.

Truly a beautiful soul in a hideous and unimaginable situation, she has been placed in.

I will say that chapters 22-29 got really repetitive of facts already stated earlier…could
of made 3 chapters of that. Hope she is still moving forward in her life❤️
