But love is never simple, and it is not until Annie learns a hard lesson from her own grown daughter that she finds the strength to claim the happiness she has earned.

Hallmark story

Would say it’s my least favorite of this author’s books. It was a good story, even though a bit predictable. I would have loved a last chapter about her return to Nick & Izzy.

A Good Story

This is not the best book I have ever listened to, but it is good. Story line is consistent and pulls you in. Narration is even and well done. Characters are interesting. It is not the best of Kristin Hannah, but I would still reccomend it.

wonderful characters

this was beautiful, heart wrenching at times, but beautifully written. I couldn't stop listening to it. so well written

Amazing

Shame on me for doubting Kristin Hannah. I went into this with low expectations since this was an older book from the author. It was just as amazing as all of the others I have read. I loved it.

I like Kristin story telling very much. I enjoy the fact of story taking place in towns I know.
