Father Thomas Keating is the founder of the Centering Prayer movement, based on the retreat into the "inner room" mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 6:6, where the individual is able to meet God. This is an exerpt from Open Mind, Open Heart which for some reason you cannot buy on audible. It even refers sections of that book, "appendix B, etc." This is not really about parables but about centering prayer. You are better off going to the contemplative outreach website, spending three more dollars and downloading the entire audiobook. I was very disappointed.
