Great book!

I’m really enjoying this series! These were my first ones by Lena Hendrix and I’ve not been disappointed at all! They are a fun time!

Oh I liked this one. Her trying to “help” him out. All the tension and angst!! We didn’t get very many crumbs for the next book so I’m not sure that I’m going to dive straight in.

ONE DAY! It took me less than 24 hours to finish because it was that good!! Beckett Miller is everything and has officially secured a spot in my all time favorite book boyfriends!!

Beckett is Kate's ex boyfriends grumpy older brother. She is not the biggest fan of his because of that and because he isn't always the nicest to her. So when she finds out she has to work with him on the reno of her families home she is not trilled. Their quick jabs at each other quickly turn to flirty banter and before you know it Beckett is kissing Kate up against a wall and all bets are off! The chemistry and tension between them is SOOO GOOD! And the spice?!! Top notch! I adored these two together! Kate knew how to press Becketts buttons and he enjoyed it just as much! And Beckett?? That man was perfection! I mean he even enjoyed a good bubble bath!! He was grumpy and closed off to love but for Kate he put in the work and it was so appreciated! And how he won her back was just perfect in every way!! I loved being back in Outtatowner and loved seeing what crazy things these characters get up to! I laughed and cried and swooned! Loving this series so much!

AUDIO: This was narrated by Sebastian York and Erin Mallon. 10 out of 10! I have said it before and I will say it again. Sebastian and a grumpy mmc go hand in hand!! He can also pull off humor and he definitely delivered with this one! Erin can adapt to any character and she brought Kate's sassy and determined side to life!

Ugh, I absolutely loved Beckett and Kate. This grumpy contractor had me from page one. The narrators did a great job bringing these characters to life. I can’t wait for book 3!

I'm glad I discovered this author. Her books are a good mixture of sweet, steamy, heartfelt, and funny.
