The first book in an epic LitRPG series. Whilst resting on my deathbed, an old friend visited me with the proposition to help him and his international team to test a new system called the Rekindle Project, the aim of which was to create a system that allowed the human mind to connect with the sub-verse. With the Earth becoming more inhospitable and humanity being on the brink of collapse, I sacrificed a peaceful death to give them another chance.

Upon entering the system, all contact with the team was lost, along with my memories. I found myself in a strange new world where the natural laws of Earth were turned upside down, and the organized chaos of RPGs came to life.

A dark entity is ravaging the island of Nasrock, tormenting its inhabitants, and turning them into mindless pawns. It will stop at nothing to achieve its goal—to enslave everything.

Join Ali’Creed as he fights his way through dungeons, a multitude of different enemy types, and cool boss fights. He must upgrade and level up his skills so that he can become strong enough to defeat the dark entity hell bent on the destruction of Nasrock.

Warning: This story is set within a game-like world as is customary within the LitRPG/Gamelit genre. Although it is set within this type of world, it is as real as the normal world, where death is a very real thing. The story touches upon some sensitive social issues that were common during medieval times. Fans of games like World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Valhiem, and many other RPG games would enjoy this type of story, as it contains character progression in the form of player level ups, stat screens, XP gains, skills progressions, perks, and many more features!

Needs work

The story is okay and progression is fine but seriously I am tired of listening to the Stat page 20 times in the same fight. I mean I do not need to know the health, Stamina and mana values after every attack in a fight...
