Jason Bourne?

If you love that kind of stories... I think you'll gonna like that one.
Maybe less "fireworks", I mean... there is only one "John Wick or Tyler Rake" - but this book have similar vibes. Love it.

Excellent Story

I enjoyed this story and the entire idea behind this organization that the author writes about. That even in the best organization there is always someone who will let themselves be corrupted or bought.
This is a truely interesting story that kept me glued to the story all night. Narrator does a fantastic job with the various characters and the Entire storyline!!

They came after him and FAFO'd

This was another very enjoyable listen by a favorite author. I was totally engrossed from beginning to end—hooked by the story, the characters, and the pacing. Calvin Thorne’s journey from elite agent to betrayed fugitive had just the right mix of action, emotion, and intrigue to keep me completely invested.

The narrator’s tone and speech pattern were absolutely perfect for Calvin—cool, controlled, and layered with just enough intensity to match the character’s inner turmoil.

I’ll read anything and everything by this author because I’m never disappointed. Every book is a hit, and this one was no exception. Looking forward to whatever comes next!

Non-stop action with a gritty edge

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this book had me hooked from the first chapter. Calvin Thorne is the kind of character you root for even when he’s pushed to the edge. The whole betrayal angle hit me harder than I thought, it felt believable, not just over the top action. Once O.P.U.S. came after him, I couldn’t put it down. It’s fast, brutal in parts, and actually left me thinking about how messy “doing the right thing” can get.

Great story!

Calvin Thorne worked for OPUS, which is an international criminal organization; however, he began seeing things he did not like. Thus, he thought it was time to leave the organization and have a peaceful, normal life. The organization's head did not think so. Bad for them, because Calvin would not allow them to try to eliminate him or hurt the new love of his life. Once again, Riano D. McFarland keeps you on the edge of your seat with his novels. This one is no different, and his narrator once again did a fabulous job in the telling. Whether you read this novel or listen to it in the audiobook version, you will not be disappointed.
